Help for disadvantaged children in Nepal

In October 2024, the Josef Mühlbauer Foundation received a call for help from the association Asha for Children Deutschland e.V. The association is primarily committed to helping disadvantaged children in the slums of Nepal and offers targeted support to those most in need. A special focus is placed on helping girls, who are often even more severely affected by poverty and disadvantage in these regions. The everyday lives of these young people are characterised by working in brick factories for a pittance and collecting plastic bottles so that they can afford something to eat.

Asha for Children fights to give girls and boys a better future. It does this by providing free early childhood education, healthcare, safe and nutritious food, and essential clothing. These measures help children achieve basic living standards and break out of the cycle of poverty. That is why the Josef Mühlbauer Foundation decided to support this cause with a donation of EUR 10,000.

As a token of appreciation, we received a handmade card from the children of the ASHA school in Tathali, Bhaktapur. It is a beautiful reminder of how much our contributions make a difference.
