The Josef Mühlbauer Foundation is a public foundation under civil law with legal capacity, recognised by the government of the Upper Palatinate by foundation deed dated 22 November 2005. It is exempt from corporation tax as a non-profit organisation in accordance with Section 5 (1) No. 9 of the Corporation Tax Act (KStG). Its non-profit status is recognised by the Cham tax office.
